Here is a new video made with the unused footage from Contrast , just like the previous video this is a one minute video or "Filminuto" short. This time exploring the concept of emptiness and the eerie feeling you get from it. As always with my videos the music is a key thing, for this one the song is "Channel 1 Suite" from no other that " The Cinematic Orchestra " Which I have talked about in the past. This here is one of my favorite covers ever, because it turns a very fast paces fun song to a more melancholic, soothing and reflective to a point, not saying the original "Hey Ya" by "OutKast" is bad by any regards it's actually a fantastic song but like I have said before what I really like about covers is when they transform a song to a whole different genre and give it a whole different perspective and feeling to it and The Blanks version delivers both things. I heard the song the first time through Scrubs because the leader of The Blanks, Sam Llyod is one of the recurring cast as Ted the lawyer and he a hysterical character and he actually has a band in the show based on his real band which I think it's awesome.
