Name Origin: There are 3 possible reasons here they are:
1. The lead singer Stephen wanted to name his daughter "Anberlin" and they were finding a name for the band and they thought why not "Anberlin"
2.  Christian stated in another interview that he was thinking of Europe cities like "London, Rome, Paris and Berlin. He then thought "And Berlin" later it was modified to "Anberlin".
3.  Another was that it came from a Radiohead song called "Everthing In Its Right Place" That they thought the background said "Anberlin" so he named the band that.

Favorite Song:
This is "Fin" I Picked this song because it was the first one I heard from them and it's still my favorite one.

Personal Opinion:

I was recommended to a song of this band called "Fin" I was obsessed with this song for a long time, I heard it non-stop. When I finally got started to listen to other songs from the band i found some pretty good songs from them but even still "Fin" still stayed as my favorite. This is a christian song so the songs have very deep meaningful lyrics. They have pretty good songs to unwind and relax and they make everything seemed dramatic which is probably why it's used in a lot of compilations.
