Personal Opinion:

Ice Nine Kills was recommended to me by a friend I met over at a summer camp and boy did I enjoy them a lot, I really like how different they took the usual genre of post-hardcore and how in all of their depressing emo lyrics I found happiness for some reason. They also went through quite a couple of changes and listening to them since the beginning till they finally found the genre they stuck with was really fun. The only thing I miss though is that sometimes I want more songs like their first album "Last Chance to Make Amends" because something about their somber tone, power lyrics really stuck to me, and even though their new stuff strays really far from that style of music they still have that unique feel to it. Just wish they make a song like that album once in a while even though all the original members except the singer aren't in the band anymore, but I think that with the new band members a somber tone song will be even better than before, other than that, is a great hear. Check ‘em out.
