Personal Opinion:

The National has been a very powerful and important band in my life because it has inspired me to keep playing piano several times and a lot of their songs have many meanings in my life, songs like "Exile Vilify", "This Is The Last Time" and "Wake Up Your Saints" they trigger many memories of different periods of my life. I was so hooked with them around 2012-2013 that I bought "Trouble Will find Me" the day it came out. I found out about this band thanks to the game portal 2, though the song "Exile Vilify" is crazy hidden in the game because it only appears in a Easter egg, which I find kind of sad cause many people that play that game will probably go right through it. If you want a relaxing tune that makes you think about whatever you want in the moment give them a try, they are Definitely a mood band as in you have to be in a specific mood for them, but if you get hooked with them I can assure you that you can hear them regardless of how you feel cause they at least for me boost whatever feeling I am currently having.
